- BIOGRAPHY
Montini Felicilda is an attorney at law. He first worked at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines prior to obtaining a law degree. When he joined the Firm he was already equipped with substantial experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement having worked very closely with officers at the Bureau of Legal Affairs. He briefly went as solo practitioner to experience working on other areas of law practice before returning to the Firm for focus solely on intellectual property work.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
At present, Mr. Felicilda heads the Firm’s enforcement arm. He supervises the Firm’s anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy initiatives, including the conduct of investigations and raid operations and the issuance of search warrants. He supervises the prosecution of administrative, criminal, and civil actions against infringers.
Mr. Felicilda also practices trademark litigation, rendering legal opinions and advice on trademark issues, drafting and reviewing pleadings, appeals, and motions related to these issues, and supervising the negotiation of settlement agreements and assignment of trademarks.
- EDUCATION
Mr. Felicilda obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the Lyceum of the Philippines and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the East.
